AddWater Alert is a small water-level sensor designed to sit inside the water reservoir of a drip coffee maker or similar appliance. When the water level drops too low, it triggers an audible beep and a visual flash to remind you to refill. It requires no Wi-Fi, no smartphone app, and no subscription — just plug it in via USB and it works.

WaterTank Alert is a two-piece wireless water-level monitoring system. One unit (the sensor) is placed at or near the water source — a tank, dehumidifier, humidifier, or aquarium. The second unit (the remote) can be placed up to 50 feet away. When the water level drops below or rises above a set threshold, the remote unit alerts you. No Wi-Fi, no app, and no subscription required.

No. Neither AddWater Alert nor WaterTank Alert requires Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a smartphone, or any app. AddWater Alert alerts you locally with a beep and flash. WaterTank Alert uses its own short-range wireless signal between the sensor unit and the remote unit. Both work completely offline.

No. Both products are one-time purchases with no subscription, no cloud service, and no recurring fees. You pay once and the device works indefinitely.

AddWater Alert is designed to work with most standard drip coffee makers that have an open-top water reservoir. It is not compatible with single-serve pod machines (such as Keurig) or espresso machines with sealed pressurised water tanks. If your coffee maker has a removable, open reservoir you fill by hand, AddWater Alert will work with it.

The remote unit can be placed up to 50 feet (approximately 15 metres) from the sensor unit. Range may vary slightly depending on walls and obstructions between the two units.

WaterTank Alert can monitor any container or reservoir that holds water, including dehumidifier collection tanks, humidifier reservoirs, aquariums, pet water fountains, cisterns, rain barrels, and sump pits. If it holds water and you want to know when the level changes, WaterTank Alert can help.

AddWater Alert is USB powered. WaterTank Alert's sensor and remote units are battery powered for flexible placement. Specific battery requirements are included in the product packaging.

Both AddWater Alert and WaterTank Alert are Patent Pending. The sensor technology was developed in-house by WaterStatus Technologies.

Both products are assembled in Indiana, USA by WaterStatus Technologies (Triple One LLC). We are committed to domestic assembly and quality manufacturing.

AddWater Alert is $29.95 for a single unit. A two-pack is available for $49.90. Both options are available on the order page.

WaterTank Alert Standard is $49.95. A Timer edition is also available for $54.95. Both include the sensor unit and the remote unit.

Shipping is a flat $8.99 to anywhere in the USA. We do not currently ship internationally.

Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days. Delivery via standard shipping takes 3–7 business days after processing, depending on your location.

We offer a 30-day return window from the date of delivery. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return the device by mail for a full refund. Return shipping is free. Contact us at [email protected] to initiate a return.

Every WaterStatus product includes a 90-day limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If your device stops working due to a defect within 90 days of purchase, we will replace it at no charge. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, water submersion beyond the device's rated depth, or physical damage.
